Order in Council

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of °ÄÃÅÓÀÀû, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of °ÄÃÅÓÀÀû, orders that:

O.C. 987/2018

whereas members of the Executive Council and ministers of the Crown have been appointed pursuant to sections 1 and 2 of the Executive Council Act;

and whereas the Lieutenant Governor in Council considers it advisable to assign and transfer certain ministerial powers, duties, functions and responsibilities to specified ministers of the Crown on an interim basis pending fuller assignments and transfers to be ordered in due course;

therefore, pursuant to subsections 2 (2), 5 (1) and 8 (1) of the Executive Council Act, the Ministers listed in column A of the Schedule to this Order in Council shall exercise the powers and perform the duties, functions and responsibilities currently assigned by Order in Council or statute to the Ministers listed in column B of the Schedule, and such powers, duties, functions and responsibilities are assigned and transferred accordingly.
