°ÄÃÅÓÀÀû Securities Commission
Amendments to National Instrument 94-102 Derivatives: Customer Clearing and Protection of Customer Collateral and Positions
On August 1, 2021, amendments (the Amendments) to National Instrument 94-102 Derivatives: Customer Clearing and Protection of Customer Collateral and Positions (the National Instrument) became effective under the Securities Act (°ÄÃÅÓÀÀû).
The purpose of the Amendments is to address an initiative to reduce regulatory burden in capital markets. The Amendments will achieve this goal by reducing the filing frequency of a form required to be delivered under the instrument from monthly to quarterly.

Order in Council
On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of °ÄÃÅÓÀÀû, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of °ÄÃÅÓÀÀû, orders that:
O.C. 1230/2021
Pursuant to subsections 2(2), 5(1), and 8(1) of the Executive Council Act, and despite any provision of a statute or Order in Council, responsibility for the administration of the Anti-Racism Act, 2017 is hereby assigned and transferred from the Solicitor General to the Minister of Citizenship and Multiculturalism the date this Order in Council is made.
Further, the Appendix of Order in Council O.C. 635/2019 dated April 18, 2019 is hereby revised and shall be interpreted accordingly.
