Proclamations being replaced by commencement orders

As of January 1, 2025, proclamations will no longer be used to bring legislation into force and commencement orders will be used instead.

Unlike proclamations, commencement orders will not be published in The °ÄÃÅÓÀÀû Gazette, but instead will be published on e-Laws | ontario.ca.
