What is happening?

Effective December 10, 2018, °ÄÃÅÓÀÀû and Teranet launched the second phase of , a new, user-friendly web portal that provides customers with remote access to search °ÄÃÅÓÀÀû’s land registration records. .

Information

OnLand now offers customers full online search capabilities to °ÄÃÅÓÀÀû’s land registration records (excluding writs services), from anywhere in the world.

This online solution will act as a portal for submissions of change corrections, document pre-approvals and overrides by land registration professionals. Another new feature being introduced is the ability to order certified copies of land registration records. OnLand now offers customers the option to view standard charge terms and evidence, all from the convenience of their home or office. Note: to search evidence you need to add the suffix EV as part of the index file number - e.g. BAR389EV.

The OnLand web portal is available in both English and French and is compliant with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.

Historical Books

  • OnLand will continue to allow for viewing of historical books at no fee.

Requests for Change Corrections, Preapprovals and Overrides

  • Effective December 10, 2018 all requests for change corrections, preapprovals and overrides are to be submitted through OnLand.ca and no longer sent through our centralized email address.
  • Processing times will vary depending on the complexity of your request. Ministry staff will contact you within 10 business days of your submission and will fulfill all requests in order of receipt.
  • If your request is for a document registration override, it will be treated as a priority and you will be contacted for processing.
  • If further information is needed, staff will contact you accordingly.
  • Please do not resubmit your request multiple times.
