Amending Reg. 262 of R.R.O. 1990

Note: Since the end of 2000, Regulation 262 has been amended by �������� Regulation 132/01.�� Previous amendments are listed in the Table of Regulations published in The �������� Gazette dated January 20, 2001.

1. The definition of “handicapped child” in section 1 of Regulation 262 of the Revised Regulations of ��������, 1990 is amended by striking out “with a developmental handicap” at the end and substituting “with a developmental disability”.

2. The French version of section 7 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Loi sur les services aux personnes
atteintes d’un handicap de développement” and substituting “Loi sur les services aux personnes ayant une déficience intellectuelle”.

3. The French version of subsection 48 (4) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Loi sur les services aux personnes atteintes d’un handicap de développement” and substituting “Loi sur les services aux personnes ayant une déficience intellectuelle”.

4. The French version of subsection 54 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Loi sur les services aux personnes
atteintes d’un handicap de développement” and substituting “Loi sur les services aux personnes ayant une déficience intellectuelle”.

5. The French version of subsection 55 (4) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Loi sur les services aux personnes
atteintes d’un handicap de développement” and substituting “Loi sur les services aux personnes ayant une déficience intellectuelle”.

6. This Regulation comes into force on the later of,

(a) the day section 2 of the Homes for Retarded Persons Repeal Act, 2001 comes into force; and

(b) the day this Regulation is filed.
