Amending O. Reg. 447/07

(LISTED ACTS - DELEGATION BY CITY)

1. Section 1 of �������� Regulation 447/07 is amended by adding the following paragraph:

3. Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997.

2. (1) Subsection 2 (2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “powers” in the portion before paragraph 1 and substituting “power”.

(2) Paragraph 1 of subsection 2 (2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “paragraph 3” and substituting “subparagraph 2 iii”.

(3) Paragraph 2 of subsection 2 (2) of the Regulation is revoked.

(4) Section 2 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:

(3) The City may delegate only the following power under the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997, and only to a council committee, as described in clause 21 (1) (a) of the Act:

1. The power to designate a private road as a fire route for the purposes of clause 7.1 (1) (c) of that Act.

Commencement

3. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
