Amending O. Reg. 82/20

(RULES FOR AREAS IN STAGE 1)

1. Section 9 of Schedule 1 to �������� Regulation 82/20 is amended by adding the following subsections:

(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to in-person driving instruction for drivers of commercial motor vehicles,

(a) where the instruction is part of the �������� Driver Certification Program administered by the Ministry of Transportation and involves the operation of motor vehicles for which,

(i) a class of driver’s licence other than Class G, G1, G2, M, M1 or M2 is required, or

(ii) an air brake endorsement is required; or

(b) that is provided by a private career college that is in compliance with section 2 of Schedule 3.

(3) In this section,

“commercial motor vehicle” has the same meaning as in subsection 1 (1) of the Highway Traffic Act.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
