Amending O. Reg. 271/21

(WORK REDEPLOYMENT FOR LOCAL HEALTH INTEGRATION NETWORKS AND ONTARIO HEALTH)

1. (1) Section 1 of Schedule 1 to �������� Regulation 271/21 is amended by adding the following definitions:

“long-term care home” has the same meaning as in subsection 2 (1) of the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007; (“foyer de soins de longue durée”)

“retirement home” has the same meaning as in subsection 2 (1) of the Retirement Homes Act, 2010. (“maison de retraite”)

(2) Subsection 2 (2) of Schedule 1 to the Regulation is amended by striking out “hospitals” and substituting “hospitals, long-term care homes and retirement homes”.

(3) Subparagraph 1 ii of subsection 3 (1) of Schedule 1 to the Regulation is amended by striking out “hospital” at the end and substituting “hospital, long-term care home or retirement home”.

(4) Paragraphs 1 to 4 of section 4 of Schedule 1 to the Regulation are amended by striking out “hospital” wherever it appears and substituting in each case “hospital, long-term care home or retirement home”.

(5) Paragraph 5 of section 4 of Schedule 1 to the Regulation is amended by striking out “�������� Health or the hospital” and substituting “�������� Health, the hospital, the long-term care home or the retirement home”.
