Amending O. Reg. 463/97

(ELECTRONIC MEETINGS AND MEETING ATTENDANCE)

1. (1) Subsection 6.1 (1) of �������� Regulation 463/97 is revoked and the following substituted:

6.1 (1) Subject to subsection (3), a member of a board shall be physically present in the meeting room of the board for at least three regular meetings of the board during each 12-month period beginning November 15, 2022.

(2) Subsection 6.1 (2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “or” at the end of clause (b), by adding “or” at the end of clause (c) and by adding the following clause:

(d)�� the Lieutenant Governor in Council under clause 4 (1) (a) of the Reopening �������� (A Flexible Response to COVID-19) Act, 2020.

(3) Subsection 6.1 (3) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “November 30, 2021” and substituting “November 15, 2022”.

2. (1) Section 6.2 is amended by striking out “November 30, 2021” wherever it appears and substituting in each case “November 14, 2022”.

(2) Section 6.2 of the Regulation, as amended by subsection (1), is revoked.

3. (1) Subsection 7 (1) of the Regulation is amended by,

(a)�� striking out “December 1, 2021” in the portion before clause (a) and substituting “November 15, 2022”; and

(b)�� striking out “or” at the end of clause (b), by adding “or” at the end of clause (c) and by adding the following clause:

(d)�� the Lieutenant Governor in Council under clause 4 (1) (a) of the Reopening �������� (A Flexible Response to COVID-19) Act, 2020.

(2) Subsection 7 (2) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

(2) The period referred to in subsection (1) is determined as follows:

1.�� If an order is made under subsection (1) before November 15, 2022 and continues to apply on that date, the period starts on November 15, 2022 and ends 60 days after the order ceases to apply.

2.�� If an order is made under subsection (1) on or after November 15, 2022, the period starts on the day the order is made and ends 60 days after the order ceases to apply.

(3) Subsection 7 (3) of the Regulation is amended by,

(a)�� striking out “December 1, 2021” in the portion before clause (a) and substituting “November 15, 2022”; and

(b)�� striking out “or” at the end of clause (b), by adding “or” at the end of clause (c) and by adding the following clause:

(d)�� the Lieutenant Governor in Council under clause 4 (1) (a) of the Reopening �������� (A Flexible Response to COVID-19) Act, 2020.

4. Section 5 and subsection 6 (3) of �������� Regulation 632/20 are revoked.

Commencement

5. (1) Subject to subsection (2), this Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.

(2) Subsection 2 (2) comes into force on November 15, 2022.
