Amending Reg. 552 of R.R.O. 1990
(GENERAL)
1. (1) Subsection 1 (1) of Regulation 552 of the Revised Regulations of 澳门永利, 1990 is amended by adding the following definition:
鈥渁boriginal midwife鈥 means an aboriginal person who provides traditional midwifery services to aboriginal persons or members of an aboriginal community;
(2) The definition of 鈥渟chedule of benefits鈥 in subsection 1 (1) of the Regulation is amended by adding the following paragraph:
38. Amendments dated January 24, 2022 (effective as of November 1, 2021);
(3) The definition of 鈥渟chedule of benefits鈥 in subsection 1 (1) of the Regulation, as amended by subsection (2), is amended by adding the following paragraph:
39. Amendments dated January 25, 2022 (effective as of July 1, 2022);
2. (1) Clause 22 (1) (a) of the Regulation is amended by striking out 鈥渕idwife or registered nurse鈥 and substituting 鈥渕idwife, aboriginal midwife or registered nurse鈥.
(2) Clause 22 (2) (b) of the Regulation is amended by striking out 鈥渕idwife or registered nurse鈥 wherever it appears and substituting in each case 鈥渕idwife, aboriginal midwife or registered nurse鈥.
3. (1) Paragraph 8 of subsection 38.4 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out 鈥渕idwife, registered nurse鈥 and substituting 鈥渕idwife, aboriginal midwife, registered nurse鈥.
(2) Paragraph 10 of subsection 38.4 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out 鈥渕idwife鈥 wherever it appears and substituting in each case 鈥渕idwife or aboriginal midwife鈥.听
4. The definition of 鈥湴拿庞览 Health Insurance Plan identification number鈥 in section 38.5 of the Regulation is amended by striking out 鈥渕idwife, medical director鈥 and substituting 鈥渕idwife, aboriginal midwife, medical director鈥.
Commencement
5. (1) Except as otherwise provided in this section, this Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
(2) Subsection 1 (2) is deemed to have come into force on November 1, 2021.
(3) Subsections 1 (1) and (3) and sections 2 to 4 come into force on July 1, 2022, or if this Regulation is filed after that day, they are deemed to have come into force on that day.
