Amending O. Reg. 380/04

(STANDARDS)

1. Section 3 of °ÄÃÅÓÀÀû Regulation 380/04 is amended by adding the following subsection:

(7.1) Despite subsection (7), the group is not required to conduct the annual practice exercise in a year if,

(a)Ìý the group directed the ministry’s response in an emergency during that year, and the emergency lasted for at least 48 hours;

(b)Ìý the group implemented the ministry’s emergency plan and the group’s procedures to respond to an emergency during that year; and

(c)Ìý the group complies with any other requirements that may be specified by the Chief, Emergency Management °ÄÃÅÓÀÀû.

2. Section 12 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:

(6.1) Despite subsection (6), the group is not required to conduct the annual practice exercise in a year if,

(a)Ìý the group directed the municipality’s response in an emergency during that year, and the emergency lasted for at least 48 hours;

(b)Ìý the group implemented the municipality’s emergency response plan and the group’s procedures to respond to an emergency during that year; and

(c)Ìý the group complies with any other requirements that may be specified by the Chief, Emergency Management °ÄÃÅÓÀÀû.

Commencement

3. This Regulation comes into force on the day this Regulation is filed.
