Amending O. Reg. 201/96

(GENERAL)

1. (1) Subsection 16 (2) of �������� Regulation 201/96 is amended by striking out “and” at the end of clause (c), by adding “and” at the end of clause (d) and by adding the following clause:

(e) no additional amount shall be subtracted for the fifth fiscal year under subsection 6 (1) of the Act after the end of the day in that fiscal year that the sum of the additional amounts subtracted in the first, second, third, fourth and fifth fiscal years equals or exceeds $237.1 million.

(2) Subsection 16 (3) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “March 31, 2023” at the end and substituting “March 31, 2024”.

(3) Subsection 16 (4) of the Regulation is amended by adding the following definition:

“fifth fiscal year” means the period beginning on April 1, 2023 and ending on March 31, 2024;

(4) Section 16 of the Regulation, as amended by subsections (1), (2) and (3), is revoked.

2. Subsection 2 (2) of �������� Regulation 431/19 is revoked.

Commencement

3. (1) Except as otherwise provided in this section, this Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.

(2) Subsection 1 (4) comes into force on April 1, 2024.
