Amending O. Reg. 583/06

(LICENSING POWERS)

1. (1) Subclause 1 (1) (c) (i) of �������� Regulation 583/06 is amended by striking out “buses, cabs and tow trucks” and substituting “buses and cabs”.

(2) Subsection 1 (1) of the Regulation is amended by adding the following clause:

(i)�� to provide for a system of licences with respect to tow operators or vehicle storage operators.

(3) Section 1 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:

(3) In clause (1) (i), the terms “tow operator” and “vehicle storage operator” have the same meaning as in section 1 of the Towing and Storage Safety and Enforcement Act, 2021.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of January 1, 2024 and the day this Regulation is filed.
