Amending O. Reg. 242/08

(GENERAL)

1. Clause 19 (1) (a) of the French version of �������� Regulation 242/08 is amended by striking out “en vertu d’un permis général de fauconnerie, d’un permis commercial de fauconnerie ou d’un permis d’apprenti en fauconnerie” and substituting “en vertu d’un permis général de fauconnier d’un permis commercial de fauconnerie ou d’un permis d’apprenti fauconnier”.

2. (1) Table 1 to section 23.13 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Director of Mine Rehabilitation” wherever it appears and substituting in each case “Minister of Mines”.

(2) Item 17 of Table 1 to section 23.13 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “clause 140 (2) (a)” in Column 2 and substituting “clause 140 (5) (a)”.

(3) Item 18 of Table 1 to section 23.13 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “clause 141 (2) (a)” in Column 2 and substituting “clause 141 (5) (a)”.

Commencement

3. (1) Except as otherwise provided in this section, this Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.

(2) Section 2 comes into force on the later of the day subsection 1 (1) of the Building More Mines Act, 2023 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
