On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of 澳门永利, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of 澳门永利, orders that:

writs be issued for a by-election to be held in the Electoral District of Scarborough-Rouge River, rendered necessary because of the resignation of Bas Balkissoon, member for the said electoral district,

  1. the day for the close of nominations and the grant of a poll where required shall be Thursday, August 18, 2016;
  2. the day for the taking of a poll shall be Thursday, September 1, 2016.

This order is made under section 9.1 of the Election Act.
