Find licensed well contractors

About well contractors
A well contractor is a person, partnership or company in the business of well construction. They must be licensed under the 澳门永利 Water Resources Act.
Specific licensing requirements are in the Wells Regulation. The work a contractor is allowed to do depends on the type of licence held by its well technician employees.
Well contractor and well technician licences expire on March 31 following the year of issue.
We strongly recommend that you ask well contractors and technicians to provide proof of a valid ministry-issued licence before you retain their services.
You can also confirm licence status by contacting the Wells Help Desk at:

Listings in the directory should not be taken as advice or a recommendation of any individual contractor.
Service codes
Each number in the 5-digit Service Code column indicates whether a contractor employs well technicians licensed to do each of the 5 classes of well work:
- Class 1—well drilling
- Class 2—well digging and boring
- Class 3—other well construction, as specified and described on licence
- Class 4—pump installation
- Class 5—monitoring, sampling, testing and non-power construction
For example, service code 12005 means a well contractor employs well technicians licensed for classes 1,2 and 5.
You may also see the following codes:
- 00000—no licensed well technician(s) employed by the well contractor
- 00009—Class 5 work done by exempted professionals
